Our Fate Lines
In 2002. Seina(14), who is a junior school student and interested in the world affairs, meets an Afghanistan rfugee family. They start their new life and their daughter Hana(14) enters Seina’s school. Seina’s life is changed through the communication with her.
20 years later, Seina is in Iran. She is a journalist and prepares for going to Syria to report the situation of the conflicts there. In the end, she is shot dead in Syria, but her enthusiasm for life is delivered to the next generation. (the story is inspired by the life of Japanese journalist Mika Yamamoto, who has passed away in 2012, in Syria)
